Hi, I’m tanner.

A little about the person behind the therapy.

I'm Tanner Kowaleski, an LPC Associate providing virtual counseling to adults in Texas. I believe therapy should feel genuine, comfortable, and like a place where you can actually be yourself.

Outside of therapy, I'm a wife, mom, reader, gamer, and lifelong learner. I enjoy getting lost in a good book, playing video games, crocheting, and finding the little things that make everyday life more enjoyable.

I bring that same curiosity, authenticity, and occasional sense of humor into my work with clients. You don't have to have everything figured out before you start therapy. Sometimes, you just need a place to slow down, talk things through, and figure out what comes next.

I practice under the supervision of Casey Davids, LPC-S.

My Approach

I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative, genuine, and tailored to the person sitting in front of me. You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin. Together, we'll explore what you're experiencing, understand what may be getting in the way, and find ways to move forward that feel meaningful to you.

space to be yourself

Therapy is not about performing, having the right answers, or becoming someone you're not. I want you to feel comfortable bringing your full self into the room, including the parts that may feel messy, uncertain, or difficult to talk about.

a flexible approach

I draw from person-centered therapy, CBT, ACT, solution-focused therapy, and somatic interventions. Our work will be shaped around your needs and goals, with room to adjust as you grow and your needs change.
